- This species grows to height of 2m
- It is a sparsely branched slender shrub with oblong leaves that clasp the stem.
- The flowers occur in wnter/spring producing a yeasty odour and although small, are conspicuous.
- It will tolerate clay soils and is endangered in the wild.
- Hardy to USDA Zone 8.
